GPS Ghost

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of GPS Ghost ("the App"), operated by The Drone Wave LLC, doing business as Scintilla Dev ("we," "us," or "our").

GPS Ghost is a local-only GPS emulation tool. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. There are no user accounts, no registration, and no backend infrastructure of any kind.

1. No Data Collected

GPS Ghost does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information
• We do not collect your real GPS location
• We do not collect usage statistics or analytics
• We do not collect device identifiers
• We do not send any data to our servers — because we have no servers

Your use of the App is entirely private and local to your device.

2. Local Storage

The App stores certain data locally on your device using Android's on-device storage, including:

• Saved routes and waypoints you create
• App settings and preferences (speed unit, language selection)

This data never leaves your device and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data through Android Settings > Apps > GPS Ghost > Clear Data.

3. Location Permission

The App may request access to your device's location solely to display your current position as a visual reference on the map. This location data is never recorded, transmitted, or stored by us in any way. It is used only in real time within the App to help you orient yourself on the map while building a route.

You may deny location permission and still use all core features of the App — setting fake locations, building routes, and running simulations.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses Mapbox to render interactive maps. Mapbox may process limited technical data (such as map tile requests) in accordance with their own privacy policy. We do not control or have access to that data.

No other third-party SDKs that collect personal data are integrated in this App.

5. Children's Privacy

GPS Ghost does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). Since the App collects no data at all, there is no inherent risk to minors from a data privacy perspective.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App's functionality changes in a way that affects data practices. Any changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
