GPS Ghost does not create user accounts and does not send any data to our servers. There is no data stored on our servers to delete.
All data generated by the App lives exclusively on your device. This page explains what that data is and how to remove it.
1. No Server-Side Data
We hold absolutely no personal data about you. There is no account, no profile, no usage log, and no backend system associated with your use of GPS Ghost. You cannot submit a data deletion request to us because there is nothing for us to delete.
2. What Is Stored Locally
The following data is stored only on your device:
- Saved routes — waypoints and route names you save inside the App
- App preferences — speed unit (mph/km/h), selected language
No location history, no real GPS data, and no usage analytics are ever stored — locally or remotely.
3. How to Delete Local Data
Option A — Uninstall the App
Uninstalling GPS Ghost from your Android device removes all locally stored App data, including saved routes and preferences.
- Long-press the GPS Ghost icon on your home screen or app drawer
- Tap "Uninstall"
- Confirm when prompted
Option B — Clear App Data via Android Settings
To delete all local data without uninstalling the App:
- Open your device's Settings
- Go to Apps (or "Application Manager")

- Tap Storage
- Tap Clear Data and confirm
This will erase all saved routes and preferences. The App will return to its initial state on next launch.

To remove specific saved routes without clearing everything:
- Open GPS Ghost
- Go to Saved Routes
- Tap on the route you want to remove
- Tap the delete option and confirm
